The child's wellbeing: the Centre d'expertise Marie-Vincent's top priority!
To carry out its mission, a multidisciplinary team of professionals from different areas of expertise (psychosocial, medical, police, social-judicial), researchers, research assistants and other administrative personnel work together.
The Centre's psychosocial clinical team gathers specialized professionals:
- Psychoeducators
- Psychologists
- Sexologists
- Social Workers
Master or Doctorate degree graduates, all our psychosocial professionals are also regulated members of their respective professional order or association.
Not only do these professionals provide services to child sexual abuse victims, their parent(s) and families, but they also offer training sessions to other professionals in regards to the Centre's training programs. From time to time, they may also be called upon by other professionals as field experts. Our psychosocial professionals collaborate closely with the police, medical and social-judicial experts by offering services to the victims, their parent(s) and families, in the same location.
