The Centre d'expertise Marie-Vincent works towards developing specialized services as well as innovative tools for sexually abused children, aged 12 and younger.

To do so, the Centre has developed 4 types of expertise working together in sharing research and knowledge in 3 different spheres of activity.

Spheres of activity:

Clinical Services By offering specialized services to child sexual abuse victims and their parent(s).
Research By integrating research done by the Chaire interuniversitaire Fondation Marie-Vincent sur les agressions sexuelles envers les enfants at the Centre.
Training >By offering training programs that will help enhance knowledge and lead to best practice concerning child sexual abuse.

The synergy created by the 3 spheres of activity leads to the development of an advanced expertise concerning child sexual abuse.
