ll training programs content has been developed by the Centre d'expertise Marie-Vincent and relies on scientific knowledge and best practices according to field experts.

Innovative learning process
The Centre offers an ultra modern learning facility equipped with the most recent high-tech devices (multimedia and Web networking room). These facilities provide for a perfect learning experience, whether, it be, virtual or live.

A diversity of learning tools and techniques are used by qualified professional trainers from the Centre to optimise and support transfer of knowledge, maximise the learning process and ensure follow up with the participants.

The Centre integrates diversified learning techniques:

  • Oral presentations supported by audiovisual material;
  • Graphic summaries;
  • Clinical case report studies;
  • Role playing with the participation of actors;
  • Informational platform for shared knowledge updates;
  • Individual and group reflections;
  • Interactive Web exercises (before, during and after workshops);
  • Use of latest new age technologies.

Follow up strategies
To ensure a certain support in the learning process, before and after the workshops, the Centre provides its participants with an interactive informational platform. Follow ups are periodically scheduled.

Accreditation
Training workshops offered by the Centre also allow to cumulate credits from continuing education program from the Société de formation et d'éducation continue (SOFEDUC). The Centre is also accredited by the Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale du Québec (MESS), to offer training programs.

Trainees
Our training programs and workshops are of special interest to workers (administrators and professionals) from the police, medical, psychosocial and social-judicial services. Students from the master and doctorate levels are also targeted by our programs and workshops.

Place
Workshops held directly at the Centre d'expertise Marie-Vincent are privileged.

Groups
The number of participants varies according to the training program.
Multidisciplinary groups may be formed.

Access to secured Training section
Attendees will be granted special access to secured Training section on the Centre's Website. Tools linked to the training session are made available on the Website to facilitate the learning process and thus help each attendee develop his/her expertise

Cost may vary depending on the program and its length.
