Le Centre d'expertise Marie-Vincent aims to :
- Increase, in number, specialized professional resources;
- Develop specialized therapeutic services;
- Increase efficiency and access of services rendered;
- Support their active Partners involvement;
And most of all,
- Offer, in one single location, all the services child sexual victims, their parent(s) or accompanying adults may require upon a disclosure.
The Center aims at innovating and distinguishing itself by its advanced knowledge and best practices for child sexual abuse victims.
The development of highly sophisticated expertise pertaining to sexual abuse for professionals from different areas of activity and for students, resides at the very heart of the Centre's preoccupations for it will help to ensure highly qualified professional services in the future.
Training programs developed by the Centre resulted from a vast study of needs assessment conducted amongst more than 750 stakeholders from the Centre's intersectoral designated Partners, whether, it be the police, medical, psychosocial or social-judicial services. They also result from the intersectoral committee that was created to prioritise needs expressed by the professionals and to specify training procedures.
The Centre developed its training programs to first answer specific needs assessed by communities preoccupied with child sexual abuse and other related problematic.

- Training for trainers (7 hours / day X 7 days for a total 49 hours)
